CalDAV Integration

Sync your RU4M calendar with external calendar applications (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) using CalDAV.

Prerequisites

  • A registered RU4M account with calendar access
  • An external calendar application that supports CalDAV

Steps

1. Open Calendar Settings

Navigate to the calendar section and tap the settings/gear icon.

2. Find CalDAV details

Your CalDAV connection details will be displayed, including:

  • Server URL — The CalDAV server address
  • Username — Your RU4M account email
  • Password — Your CalDAV-specific password or app token

3. Add to your calendar app

Open your preferred calendar application and add a new CalDAV account:

  1. Open Settings > Calendar > Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account > Other > Add CalDAV Account
  3. Enter the server URL, username, and password
  4. Tap Next to verify and save
  1. Google Calendar doesn't natively support CalDAV
  2. Use a third-party app or sync tool
  3. Alternatively, use Apple Calendar or Thunderbird
  1. Open Settings > Calendar accounts
  2. Add a new CalDAV account
  3. Enter the connection details

4. View synced events

Once connected, your RU4M meetings will appear in your external calendar.

Sync Frequency

CalDAV sync happens periodically. Changes may take a few minutes to appear in your external calendar.

Two-way sync

Changes made in your external calendar may not sync back to RU4M. Always manage RU4M meetings within the RU4M app for best results.
